Looks very nice. I considered the aftermarket aluminum braces (I think it was MC2) but they were too expensive and when you look at 1/8th scale Bashers like the ones Aarma or Traxas make you see that often times they connect the from shock tower to the rear shock tower with a brace so I bought some inexpensive aluminum dowel and machined it to fit myself. Doesn’t look as good as yours but it does seem to make it stronger so I consider that a win.
I really like what you did and want to copy that! Lol I'm going back to smaller wheels, Castle MMX esc and putting that Max 6 in my Kraton. I just got a stupid 56118 motor for the kraton and need the larger esc from my Tekno to run it. I'd like another Tekno, but it's not in my budget. The LMT 2.0 looks awesome and I'm thinking about buying one later this year, maybe during black Friday. I love the mini LMT but can't find a servo for it that will last. The solid axle trucks are sure fun in a different way.

I downsized the wheels from what you see in the picture to Dboots copperhead2 from a Kraton 4S basher from Jenny’s which are the perfect size. I have only run this car on 3s and it’s plenty quick on that. I think I have a 2400 kv 4s censored motor and on 3s its almost as quick as my sons Tekno ET48 on 4s with his 2000 KV 6s motor. No experience with a mini LMT but the full size one is a different animal all together and a lot of fun but also expensive to maintain.

I have several dozen wheels/tires, but there's just something awesome about running ones as large as those duratrax. It may just be that it's comical, but the air control they give and cushion they provide is nice. The only downside is that i can never go full throttle and keep all 4 on the ground. I ran my Tekno on 6s once and turned it off within minutes, because it was so nuts on the 2250kv motor that was in it at that time. I knew that if i didn't go back to my normal 4s packs, i would destroy the thing quickly. 😂 I actually have a set of the 4s Arrma backflips that everyone recommended and they look to be about perfect. But the cheap monster ones from Amazon are actually pretty good too, because they slide enough to prevent traction roll. I just need to get off my butt and get something other than a mini running. Lol I'm super impressed with the mini LMT, it has taken a beating and the stock servo lasted months before the case actually broke. I expected the gears to strip first actually.
