It will rub if I let the manifold drop onto them. I took sweetdiesel's advice, & cut a small piece of heavy duty 1:1 vacuum line, split it, and slipped it over the edge of the TVP's. Shouldn't be a problem now...

What I did was to grind down the TVP a bit where the header was rubbing and that fixed it for me. Plus it gave me a little more clearance with the shock on that side.

Basically finished the build... Yeehaa... Just got my UE shocks built & mounted, engine installed... Just need some fuel lines & some time to paint up a lid...

Here's my two shelf queens.... lol

don't you just hate it you get a nice clean truck and then you take it out and it just gets covered in dirt and crap. :)

Looks awesome. One thing though, if the HPI challenege will have the trucks onroad, you may want to consider upgrading the foams in those dirt bonz. They tend to roll very easy in the corners and put me on my side a lot at last year's in NY. If it's off road, they seem to be ok.

I thought the rear shocks were supposed to go on the outside of the shock tower? Looks real nice ImBroken, I'm glad you have all those pics to remember her by, lol, cuz it won't look like that by the time you get here!

Buncrana, since HPI tires are required by HPI for the challenge, in your opinion which tires handled better at the challenge you went to, the Dirt Bonz, or the Stock tires? I need to buy a set of tires since one of the first things I did when I got my SS was get rid of the stock rims, and mounted my tires to some pro-line super singles. Now I had to buy more HPI rims and I am getting ready to buy more tires and I am undecided which way to go. I think if it is an on road situation the bonz will get chewed up real fast.
