Hey all,

Just posting a thread of my last mess that I made. I took an old OS 21 RG that I was keeping on a shelf as a spare for my savage or bomber's maxx and put it back into my maxx. I left it as 2wd.

List of stuff on it:
XTM conversion chassis, rails and exhaust
OS 21 RG-X(P)
MIP Clutch
RRP CB
Racers Edge AL trans
All RRP internal trans gears
GPM cvd's
Maximizer diff cup
Integy diff case
Integy front bulkheads (bent, but still work)
ACNCM rear bulkheads
RPM arms and towers
4 SuperMaxx Shocks
New Era roll bar
OFNA 125cc fuel tank
MGT primer bulb
Airtronics MX-3 w/ futaba servo's

Here it is. I haven't cleaned the table yet, so I may retake these shots later today.

i was going to say i seen a truck with a damn bumper on the body posts before...looks good i bet it goes like a bat out of hell, and tough to control?

that's a purdy air filter you got there Olds. is it me or is your front tower crooked? probably the POS integy bulks huh? As long as it works right? yep yep.. looks fun... and I swear I'll have pics of my Maxx soon. (long time comin eh?)

hb1111, The control really isn't to bad. I've been driving the truck with a 2.5 chassis and the wasp 18 on it as 2wd for about 3 months. I like how it handles. It's cool to crank the wheel and touch the gas for a big as powerslide...

As long as you let off on the gas a touch when your turning, the power on half way through a turn, it handles fine.

I only ran one tank (ok, two), through it right after I got it all done today. It definatly has some snap to it. Considering I was used to the 18 wierd power curve. I'll see how it goes later today as I'm currently charging all my bat's up. I wasn't planning on getting it done until tonight and drive tomorrow, but it went a little faster than I planned.

Lesson, yeah, the integy bulks suck. But until I can scrounge up $120 to get GA's, I'm going to use what I have laying around. The air filter came with the XTM kit... don't like blue? The bend is from my father in law hitting a deck head on at WOT. It was just high enough to clear the spring bumper and hit the curve of the roll bar going over the shocktower.

I'm using motorcycle filter oil. I lost my AE filter oil and didn't feel like driving an hour to pic some up. I think it was 18oz in a spray can for $6! That was way cheaper than the AE oil anyway. And it's just as tacky as well.

damn i have 2.5 in a box and never put it together yet,i think ill throw my .27 fantom in there and make it 2 wheel drive also but ill have to do alot of mods huh?its totaly stock all the way down to the chassis braces!!

Unless it's a mid-block, it isn't going to fit. This is the XTM 21 conversion chassis which gives you more room from the trans to the rear.

And it takes a lot of $ to beef up everything to handle the power. I had already done this a long time ago with a full fledge 21 maxx. I then made it be the 2.5 chassis with a 18 and 2wd. But, the 18 just wasn't enough power for where I drive even with the 2wd only. Hobby people.net is selling the OS 21 RG-(P) w/PS for $99. After seeing that, I figured what the hell, and decided to make my maxx a 21 maxx again. The OS 21 RG is a relatively low HP engine for a 21, but it makes this little sucker sing!

Here's a couple shots of both my savage and my maxx on a "cleaned" table.
