So i had manged to get my os .18 cvrx to go up to 53mph in my tmaxx. I've decided to try and get more out of the truck! so i made my own chassis extension and mounted a big block on it! I've decided to go with a ofna force .26. later on after this motor is toast i will prob go back to an os motor. now as i break driveline parts ill replace them with better ones, i already have traxxas cvd axles, got the driveshafts on the way, go all rrp gears inside the trans. all i need to get now before break in is a header and pipe setup. going to my lhs tomorrow for that. anyways, heres some pictures!

This is the extension without anything else on it. really strong and doesn't flex at all. This picture was before it was finished, so dont mind the long bolts that are in it.

Heres everything but the pipe and header installed.

Cool…

I can tell you from experience that you will need to swap the 72T spur you are running on the torque control slipper clutch to the Revo Mod 1 spur gears and a mod 1 clutch bell and re-align the engine mount to set the mesh correctly to get a ratio suited for an honest 53MPH with the .26.

Yea, I'm gonna see how it runs and all and go from there. The motor mount plate I made is bolted to the stock motor mount location so i can still move it sideways, just may have to extend the holes more. And I got a gpm savage motor mount so I can also adjust it forward and back also.

The blue aluminum one on my throttle servo? Its from my lhs. He's got tons of them, lol.

What gearing, what fuel? Any video? Do you have an accurate way of measuring or are you guessing? Just asking because I have the same trucked with a Picco. 26 Maxx that's modded and it not in the 55mph range on 30%.
