Brit crawler, it was a Yamaha Raptor 660 4 wheeler that a shop here in town put a 990 CC motor that came out of an R1 that was totaled. A friend of mine owned the shop. It was an impulse buy, back when I was in high school and was drawing large social security checks and blowing them on fast cars and faster women. It was really cool to ride around town with it in the back of my truck. My roommate had a banshee with a twin turbo and I wanted something better lol. Anyway, it was way too much power to ride. I had the swing arm stretched from here to Australia, and even with a 20 mph rolling start, I couldn't keep the front end down to make a decent quarter mile pass. I kept it about 2 months, rode it maybe 6 times, and sold it to a guy in town. Kinda like the golf cart, not much you can do with it, but cool as hell to have. Another problem is I'm a race car guy, not a bike guy, and I didn't like having something that I couldn't work on myself. First motor I ever had that if you asked me to change the crankshaft, I wouldn't know where to start.
The only problem with that golf cart is that dam lift kit. The need to lower it on some bigger wheels and low profile tires so that it will handle better, it's way to top heavy for that power. Maybe do an adjustable suspension on airbags, and stretch the chassis out a little bit. At least you could make some high speed runs down the track with it, with proper safety harnesses of course (and probably a roll cage to pass tech inspection.
