What the hell kind of shoes are those?

Well I am sorry I have to revive this thread. Due to military fun I have been out of the loop for a while but here I go.

First that is a OPS pipe. Trust me OPS is the ONLY motor and pipe I will run. By the looks of the picture you drilled the hole in the right spot just on the side of it. It should still run fine. As far as nipples you LHS should have some airplane or boat nipples you could use.

As far as strapping it down you wont be able to use the little clip in the picture of the TAG. Most italian buggies have higher gas tanks than ours. I zip tie mine to my mud guard. Trust me one 2hr race and it still held strong. But I have to give you bad news. That is a bad azz pipe but it needs a special manifold for the pipe to lie flat. The way it is angled up on your MP-6 will cause it to bog all day long. It wont be able to clear excess fuel built up in side. Depending on how resourseful your LHS you can still get the manifold. If not give these guys a call http://www.nternationalnitro.com/pages/1/index.htm . They might still have a couple. They also make some of the best heat sinks in the biz.Tell them Ronnie sent you. If not I can get you one.

I spoke to your contact TP, he says the manifold comes in either a U shape or angled. I think I have the angled manifold because when I bought the pipe they said this the manifold that will work (I bought my pipe/manifold OS VZ-RB .21 engine together). Are you sure I have it wrong, should I post a closer pic?

Let me know, I also PMd you.

I needed one of these before i got my new pipe. I was DQ-ed TWICE because of my pipe came off.... then i was DQ-ed again because my electronics got messed up..... well, i had to leave each race(pretty much like DQ)

Erick1 I got my man. In the picture the manifold on the left is a standard one and the one on the right is the one that works with that pipe. I am heading to my LHS here in Belgium in a couple of days I will see if I can get you one.

Buggyracer those are the Nternational coupler jaws. Buggy tested, racer approved. Never had any problems with them.

yup, erick has the one on the left. It's cocking the tip of the pipe in towards the gas tank.

LEt me know, thanks man., When you say bog-what are the effects of this on my engine, willl I have a problem starting it?

you will have a hard time starting it but when you accelerate, you will hear as well as see the car accelerate then lose power. Sometimes even stalling.
