Killer rig, thinking Savage is the way for this returning RC person to get back in to the game

Great looking rig

STav

looks just like my humm-vee urban body looked like on my t-maxx. i will let u know of somethin though, in the rear, behind the cab of the truck, after a few bashes it will start to crack straight down and after awhile the rear end will no longer be connected to the front of the humm-vee.

Maybe on a t-maxx but I put my savage with the urban hmmwv lid through hell and mine was still attached until the day I sold my savage.

weird. mine lasted maybe a gallon before the backend ripped off. going off jumps and stuff, i would roll it or land on my lid and stuff. the body i have found to work the best for my t-maxx is a full roll cage. lol.

Yeh Stav ! Savage is the way to for some Great Bashing and abuse !
I hear that El Pirata !! this lid has taken some major abuse alrdy but i do have a crack near the back but i think thats due to the amount of plastic i took off for the opening in the rear..

yeh i kinda did that with the front window after i noticed that weak point in my rear. its ok i have a new 73 Bronco for my next lid. i wont make the same mistake again . thx mang and all your replys and props

Just picked up a Hitec HS-5945MG Programmable Servo ([email protected] sec) that I'm gonna use for Steering for either my SaVaGe or my MGT. I paid alot for this servo, anyone use it and is it worth the cash? wanna know b4 i slap it into one of my trucks and go bashing and is it true that they dump ur reciever pack super fast?
Thx in advance

SunnyD that is honestly a killer looking ride. Hmmm think it's time to update my lid. I have a half painted hot bodies Silverado that is begging to be finished being painted. I have a coat of Pactra White pearl on her and man I need to finish that stuff up. Newayz later.

LOL i hear ya newnitrofan and thx for the feedback, i have a Mini Cooper SS body for my TC3 and a Hummer SUT for my MGT, also a 73 Bronco for my SaVaGe that i have yet to paint ! looks like all my rides are gonna be Pactra Indy Silver (great Color!) can't find any other color i like and I'm not into bright colors and i dont have an airbrush to attempt something more interesting, oh well lol. white pearl sounds like a good choice. post some pics bud once your ride is sporting some new duds.

Going to have to finish it this weekend have some new stickers that will go on it as well. Got all sorts of new poop this weekend. Even got me a new work bench.

nice. yeh I'm in need of a work bench other then my lap lol just to lazy to build one. if you dont have one alrdy, i would reccomend gettting a small air compressor to clean ur rides, works great !
Question for ya mang or anyone that sees this.

anyone use internal decals and do they work well? or are they really hard to apply and comeout sloppy? i know that it depends on the body also, plan on using a set i picked up for my Mini SS
