I put the fuel in it, primed the fuel (4 pushes) and then turned the reciever and thwn the car on. I tried to start the car. It wouldn't start.

I have checked that it's flooded. It was! I tipped it up to let the fuel drain out. I primed the fuel once more. I tried starting it. Yet again. It wouldn't start.

I then noticed that when I was trying to prime the fuel, the fuel wasn't going through the tube. I then pinched the tube while i was pushing the fuel primer button. It worked, the fuel was going through.

I then tried starting it again, and guess what. It didn't start!!

Can someone please help me out here?

Thanks

check your gloe plug to see if it still lights up. put it into your ignitor to test it out.

ok

and.............i've done it. It does light up so there's obviusly not a problem with that.

You got any other solutions?

Hey Rush Evo Dude, try putting oil in the carburator and in underneath the glow plug. I had the same problem with my nitro rush and I tried the oil, it works fine now. Tell me how it works out.

ok, i will

Ok, i've done it. It won't start when it has oil in it so i decided to put fuel in it.

Yay, it's started now. Still thanks for the tip. If it wasn't for you, i wouldn't of thought to put fuel in it.

Cheers mate.

i had that problem to when i got mine, i just loosened of the glowplug its self to allow a lil more room for the piston to fire then tightened it when it had started, works like a beauty now though :D

I had a similar problem with my HPI MT2. the only way i get it to start is to put my finger over the exaust until it tries to start. it will quickly die but then i try to start it without my finger on it and it starts right on up without a problem. I have a pull start and i dont have a priming button but it's worth a shot:banana:

hehe, no priming button, that posses justa lil problem really dosent it

Think ya might wanna invest in a new tank with a primer button tbh, but yea, mine was just the glow plug, guess with it been so new just needed breakin in a bit, now its starts almost first time everytime

I say that knowing full well its a pain to get it started if it wont start :hehe:

But yea, no primer sounds like bad news :ponder2:

Actually, no primer is a good thing; it's one less place for air to leak. To prime the engine, either take the pressure line off the exhaust pipe and blow into it, or cap the exhaust and crank the engine over.

If it's not drawing fuel, check the low end needle. Make sure its' flush to the carb body, and then try to start it.

mine starts in just a few pulls. I dont have any problem starting it now that it is broken in.

mine genral starts the first time, apart from now the engine is a bit flooded with muddy water LOL

So I'm kinda cleaning it, otherwise it always started first time so long as it was primed propper
^_^

nice work helping him out i have a rush evo too and i use the finger over the exhaust trick too.

mine works just fine now, starts after like 2-4 pulls, and yeh, like some of you guys are saying, prime the mill (pull the pullstart with your finger over the exhaust).

also, i had another prob with it, whenever i exccelerated in cut out, but now i've got that sorted and my dads taking the exhaust to work to blow it out with compressed air. yay!

also, he's taking a new pin for the front right wheels to work to cut down to fit the car coz the other snapped when he drove the car into a wall. lol :p :D
and he's taking the track rod and a little aluminium thing to beng into shape to.

should all be done by tuesday and then i can get my car up and running good again.

yippee!!!

Rush evo dude
