If money is really a problem and they sell decent bulks, get front ones first. The rear bulks always lasted longer for me. Most bad landings are on the nose.
My bulks would either snap off at the shock tower or just crush from front to back depending on the landing. It was normally the rears that would break off the shock tower tabs. Oddly enough, that's how I broke the integy's, having them on the rear with a stock tower... the front integy's would just get all bent to hell and the screw holes would strip often in the front and rear. Their aluminum just sucks. But in a bind, they are cheap and should get you through a weekend with little problems.
