my rc engine will not run it just starts runs for about 30sec and then die but will start right back up.

Reset the needles to factory settings. It sounds like the engine is either starving (too lean) or flooding (too rich). If I had to guess, I'd say too lean since it shuts down but restarts. If you flood it, it's a bit harder to restart unless you can cycle the excess fuel out.

Just a guess...

yeah mine did that. Try driving it cold. If it takes off and runs good chances are its starving for fuel.

I am just cruious is this an electric or a nitro motor because its posted in the gen. electric forum and I have never herd of a electric motor running lean, maybe low on battery, just wondering...

sorry wrong subject but anyways iv tried to richin it and lean it out and same thing it wont run

Is it getting good compression? To make sure it is not leaking around the glow plug, when there is still a little around the gp after unflooding it, put the gp in. Make sure there is a tiny bit of nitro around the gp. start it and see if the fuel bubbles. It was happening to me. Other than that I would say you may need a new ps.

how much would you say a new sleeve is

It depends on what truck you have but I would say about 40-60 bucks. Not a ton of experience but you can get them pinched. It makes the sleeve tighter and requires new break in. Again not a ton of experience so I bet sombody will tell you more. Also I am not posative that is the problem, Ask sombody that has more experience like lessen or Rolex, Good guys.

so if i get it pinched itll still fit tight in my car

Well yeah. It makes it a tiny bit smaller. Its a bit cheaper and is basically the same thing. I would do that before you get a new one. Ask around I bet sombody will do it for you. Also search Pinch on here and see what you find.
