My crowning Achievment!!!!!

Well, as some of you know, I have been working on something very special. This will prove to be the best mod yet. You will see a very bad video, but pay attention to what is happening.

Thanks Eddy, for doing your best with the video Click Here

well the video doesn't tell me anything but I assume we are supposed to be impressed that somehow you are remotely controling the easy start?

Yes, the video sucks, my fault. And yes, it's a remote starter system

Cool:banana: Now pull the body off and show us how you did it.

Now when you get a remote flip the maxx back over.. Then I will get really excited. X

What's it add in weight? Looks like it raises the CG a bit too.

VERY cool and original idea though!

About 2 ounces or so, not enough to change dynamics, with the body on the unit comes up th the bottom of the window. The power cells are engineered to be very light and powerful.

Man......that looks sweet Maxx!!!. Now, only if there was a way to somehow be able to use that 3rd channel for both the remote start and the forward/reverse. But I dunno how well that would work.

You can Matts:D

Hey

I think you have a good idea. Now try to sell it to traxxas!
You could wire another button on the remote for the starter, Just something simple then patton it.

Yea really!!!. Me too. That looks sweet. But the thing is I wouldnt want to get rid of reverse if I didnt have to.

You don't have to it works with reverse

How does it then? I mean if the remote starter and the forward/reverse are both on the same channel #(3), then, how would ya do one or the other as needed and not both at the same time?

When you put the truck in reverse with the engine running, the starter still turns, but, because the starter isn't under a load it free spins harmlessly, now, if you plan on driving for a long period of tme in reverse I suggest turning the remote system off. I tried it today and it worked fine. besides how far do most people drive in reverse? not far and usualy only for a couple seconds.

Have to test more first, I will try to get them ready to ship in about 2 weeks. I don't want to sell anything with flaws.

how do you do it? I am great with mechanics but electronics confuse me. yes how much will they cost?

Maxx...that truly is a crowning achievement. I am curious as to how well it will hold up to a hardcore bash session and function. I hope you are diagraming all of this and seeking patent or somekind of protection for your ideas. Keep the good things coming.

Just out of curiosity. Did you used to have a maxx with a trx on it with remote start? There was a guy that showed up at Hobby Town earlier this year with a remote start on his maxx. You wouldnt hapeen to be the same person would ya? If so I've seen it work and I can verify that it works very well.:D

I believe this is a new project for M@xx. If its like any of his other projects you can bet it will be a well made top shelf product.
