Still a work in progress, new body coming soon...plus aluminum front Hybrid Bulks + diff housing.

Hybrid Bulks are from http://www.fastlanemachine.com/PublicPortal/
The motor is a HPI 4.6

I am getting it setup to race for next season...

Thanks,

We used to sell a similar model when I worked at Pep Boys - I think it was rated to 30 lbs or something.

Super cool! :)

I think the site link he had is dead now. Found this one on google though, appears to be FLM's site: http://www.fastlanemachine.net/

Depends on which set he has. If he has the 1/8 diff set, then $70 an end, if he's got the stock diff ones, then $60 and end.

$70 a set front or rear, has a hyper 8, 1/8 diff set in it. yea the old link is dead, olds97_lss is right http://www.fastlanemachine.net/
is the new link. I love the Hybrid Bulk heads. It increases strength to entire bulkhead section...Great for Big Block T-MAXX'S, 1/8 diff have so much more strength, that means no more busted old diff's.

Hey Tommy, What type of Engine mount did you use for that 4.6bb, looking to mount one on my tmaxx, but that is the shortest base I have seen...
Looks like I will have to drill new holes for the motor placement, and a spacer to shim
the flywheel out...
What type of clutch bell system you using on yours ???

Yep

Where did you get the tiny floor jack and jack stands? Those are cool.

DANG, wasn't even paying attention to the Year, since it was so close to this Dec time,,,
Well iffn anyone catches this, and has any info to share on putting a BB 4.6 Savage Motor in a Stock T-Maxx would be appreciated, looking for a mount...
If I remember correctly, the SG shaft can be shimmed, but the mount has to have
different holes drilled into the Base plate to make it work...
My Hardcore maxx didn't have this problem, but this info is for a friends truck...
Thanks...D...

the problem with a big block in a maxx comes down to exhaust clearance. sure you can drill and mount up a big block, but unless you have an extended chassis its a real challenge to get or fab a header that will work.

Tommy hasn't been here since December of last year.

Yea sorry about that, will all that is on my plate I forgot about my post here....:(

It came with the kit but I have used truggy motor mount on my other tmaxx's...I will try to find who made it...

the clutch bell system is tmaxx 3 shoe clutch and fly wheel.

And this is a extended chassis kit that I am running...
