Hey guys I'm no computer genious here, but I know I have too much crap running in the background. Could someone please help me filter it out, I don't know how to tell if something is ok to disable or remove. It took me 12 hours to get a 5 min video 97% uploaded, then it failed lol. I am also unable to watch a video without using 240 or having it stop at least 3 times on 360p. Thank you!

First, what kind of connection are you running? Is it DSL, Cable, satellite, etc.? What speed are you paying for? How is your computer connected to your internet modem (USB, ethernet cable or wireless? To see what your actual speed is go to: http://www.speedtest.net and run the test. Let us know your results from there. The result is your bandwidth or upload/download speed.

After that is done, we can look at what's running in the background on your computer.

I have "Roadrunner lite" cable service using an ethernet cable. My download speed is .74 mbps and upload is .12 mbps. Maybe that's all my trouble right there because I've been digging around in my pc all night and it seems to be fairly healthy.

Have you tried resetting the cable modem? Usually you can do this by unplugging the modem for about a minute or so and then plugging it back in.

I just spoke to 4 people and they all said something was wrong, then the 5th guy said that was the speed I'm being billed for.....Bullsh!t!

I have tried resetting the modem and no go.

How do I look for coyote Rolex?

Ok thanks. I just called about the RR lite speed, and it's right on. There's no problem, I just can't understand why at first I could watch videos no problem and then after a couple months it went to this. We downgraded from turbo/home phone service to lite last year and everything was cool for about 3 months with lite.
I should also note that my pc is running very well for a 2.5 year old lol.

If you hear a quick "beep beep" you've located the right folder. And just remember, the Road Runner must always stay on the road. Always.
