Hi

since I own two Revo's I should post this here.
I'd like to apologize for letting a few shitheads get the better of me and my postings...
I have met a bunch of very fine people here, that have helped me tremendously with my Revo's and offered appreciated critique and tips. Even if some of them have no respect whatsoever for anything or anyone close to INTEGY, I would have appreciated being respected as a part of this group.
In an effort to get out of the "felt" doghouse by seeing posts being ignored to death I decided to take action and change course. If changing course helps, it's good, if not, then not :o) Simple!
To me this place is too resourceful to let people that should have never been out unsupervised take the fun out of this. To me it's amazing that even at age 32 some donkeys could pull my trigger bad enough, to loose my ability to just ignore them. Apologizing is not as sentimental as it sounds, it's actually quite good to let a few people know that you appreciate the nice place they give you to talk about your hobby and their input, even if you are not a basher and trasher at hearth. Seeing mistakes is one thing, doing it different in the future takes effort. The few people this post is for, had more respect for me before I went overboard on GB, and this is an attempt to regain it. :o)

Just curios...Did someone disrespect you are just the Integy parts?

I missed it too

But if someone bothers you that much, sipmly put them on your ignore list and they will cease to exist in your world. There posts will not even show to you. It's very simple and does the trick.

Dont worry about it. Things will work out.
As far as Integy goes, just like any company the have some good products and some bad ones. Some folks have had issues with their CS department and other haven't. I for one, use some of their products and have had great success with them. Just need to pick and choose carefully. I particularly like their tools. Great value.

Hang in there buddy the weather will get better.

We'll see, I apparently could not get my question about my lowspeed needle issue answered, it was @ 64 reads with nothing. Not even an insult about the fact that I may have an Integy screw in there... LOL Dan and Dom (!) would have had success with a 200% more stupid question.
I saw several posts going down the pipes with people asking for Integy opinions. If their stuff would break like paper they would not sell that much.
If I call their CS department and am down to namecalling within a few seconds, I would not wonder about why I run into a steeldoor. I always figure there is no warranty for anything, so if something breaks because I use it, I will open my wallet and replace it. If I don't have the money to replace it many times over, I should have stayed away from the start or maybe even from the whole hobby. I wonder what Traxxas says if I call em and tell em they are dinks because my Revo broke an arm after I put a Pickup Truck on it or slammed it into a housewall @ 49 MPH? If they have quality issues, so be it. But thats just me.
Live and let live.

Reason fo my apology is, that I felt that I was "left out to hang in the rain" with my questions probably because I pissed on the wrong people's frame.
I do have an allergy against people who use words from old Nazi Germany and my post in response was to harsh and uncalled for. Also I spend too much time dealing with 2 britans, everyone else ignored. So I said my sorry's, because I count you guys higher than that.
Makes any sense?
I also posted this to the Revo Section if I remember right but guess I was put into my place. Finally close to Britney Spears shaved bodyparts... LOL

Thats all!

RevoME,

Don't worry about people not posting a reply to your thread. In order for someone to read your thread they have to view it thus your views was high, but if they don't have an answer or comment then don't expect a reply.

Don't believe me - how bout spending some time viewing all the Unanswered Threads - only about 3,000 of them.

I lose a lot of threads due to me using a Blackberry to access the site. Also a lot of time I have a minute and jump on, and only hit one section so the next time I come on there may not be any new threads in a section so it becomes "forgotten" or even maybe "ignored." Not saying this is the case with all but maybe what happened with yours, it just got pushed to the bottom and was un-noticed

I'll start by saying I have enjoyed seeing and reading your post and I am happy you joined us! Yes I even like the shelf queen. I know I haven't post in the thread but I read it when something new is added.

I know you were jumped on right away with the Integy thing but Imo your now pushing as hard as the guy/guys you are referring to....They don't like Integy and you do no big deal. A lot of members here don't like Traxxas and almost all of them don't like a Maxx but I still have and use one but I don't get upset about them saying it's junk..it's mine and I'm happy with it and thats what matters!

As for the post that went unanswered...welcome to winter, it gets like that a lot sorry.

I hope you can get past this and stick with us, this is a good group of people if you give them another chance!

I particularly like their tools. Great value.

I'll second the Integy tools, I bought a set of hex wrenches from Eddy at a great price and they have been great so far!

Well, my apologies to you, RevoME, if any Integy related comments I have posted seemed directed personally to you. I have my own issues with Integy and they are mine, but that doesn't mean I think everyone that buys their stuff is an idiot, far from it. Integy makes good stuff for show trucks and the like and if you, or anyone else, is a fan of their stuff, then who am I to imply anything about them personally? My apologies, again.

Also, I didn't even see your thread about the needles, so my bad. I hope you got it addressed, though!

SMaxxin & all, I appreciate your posts a lot, really!
First it was important to me to be straight and honest about feeling bashed on using Integy parts, which I considered unfair. Done and resolved now. I may have taken this personally, but it's a hobby, you put a lot of thought into it, and money and time... and then it's poop.
Second I wanted to make sure that I was not pushing too hard with responding to people I should not have responded too, the ignore button was found and "my world looks a lot cleaner". But my apology was aimed at all the people who responded here, because I felt it was not appropriate what I did. So a sincere apology was needed.
Not worth loosing this place over it, so it had to get out of the system. No big deal, sure, but to me it was important to say it.

"Being laughed about because I tell a bunch of guys in a forum that I like em and their advise is valuable to me... priceless!" but honest :o)

I'm fine, don't send flowers or cards, just needed to come clean. Fresh start.
Thanks a lot!
Jason
