i am thinking about getting my son the traxxas grave digger for his 5th birthday.. Anybody have anything negative to say about it?

Its probably a good choice for him. I can't remember if it has training mode but if it does it'll definitely be a good choice

Thats what i was thinking... I have a t maxx and that thing is wayyyyyyy to much truck for him:)

Great choice, Traxxas has parts support at just about any LHS and everywhere online. I'm getting the Monster Mutt for my daughter, I just have to figure out when.

It's a good truck for younger drivers. It's based on the Stampede so it's a proven platform. It does have the training mode which limit is to half throttle. And as said before, parts availability is great.

great choice that is what i got my son when he was five. now a year later i upgraded the motor to brushless.he loves it.

maby look at the 1/16 summit? For a few $ more you will have 4x4. I got the above my my girl but going to be going and getting the summit for her as she wants to drive in the spots i take my summit.. And for some reason my local shop had it for the same price as the above veh. So I'm hoping they will get more in
