Personally, I would never run aluminum arms. I run aluminum bulks with RPM arms and havn't had one problem with this combo. Aluminum bends, then weakens as you try to bend it back. The bulks don't really bend. If they do, you have bigger problems. But by running RPM arms, you give yourself a flexing point to help prohibit destroying other parts.
I'd also recommend rc-solutions spring steel skid plates, at least for the front. It does away with the front bumper and crappy front bumper brackets that don't allow you to tighten the bulks together very well. Also, at minimum, get the new era 3 point roll bar. It kicks ass.
