The muggy diff gearing is 11:45 while the lst/xxl is 14:43, I've been thinking of running a muggy 11T pinion with the 43T ring gear from the xxl/lst. I am hoping that will allow me to lower the tooth count on my motor pinion gear. I am sure I can lower the rotational mass on the motor, while still keeping the speed. Plus I am also losing rotational mass on the diff pinion.

Before I go and buy the diff pinions, has anyone tried this?

I'm not sure what you are talking about bro, the LSt2/XXL has a 2 speed tranny which is 19/70 on the low end and 25/63 on the high speed gears.

Ahhhhh gotchya! I think I was just tired when I read it. I clearly says "diff" now that I'm awake lol :P Dropping two teeth would allow you to run a lil bit smaller motor pinion but I can't see you dropping enough rotational mass to make much difference. That being said I've never done it either so Id be interested to know if it can be done and if you could tell a difference. I take it this is a different kit than the one that has the Tekin 1550kv on it?

Its for the rig with the 1550kv, The way I drive, I can tell that the 34T pinion might cause some heat issues depending on the ambient temperature. I figure I could change the gearing on the diffs, and run a smaller motor pinion, without much speed loss, if I make up for it on the diff gear ratio. I will buy the new pinions in a few weeks and let you know how the testing goes

Yeah I'm not sure how hot mine will get when its full on summer. When I tested mine it was only about 60F out so it stayed fairly cool. I have been wonder about when the ambient temps are in the 85+ range.
