Mugen MBX5 Prospec Thread :)

i noticed it has alot of prospec stuff on them...but not sure if they are "true" or just made to be prospecs

IMO the MBX5 with prospec parts is just as good as the prospec. What truly makes the prospec? I think the weak points of the non prospec are the towers.

after ragging ya cause i had an xb8....lol....i went and swapped it for a mbx5....

actually i swapped for 2 mbx5's...thats the reason why...roflmao

At least i now know you have some taste LOL good trade i think youll love em, but were are you bodies they dont look right without em you know

heard vague references to that effect saturday at the races....I'm holdong out for the next mugen myself...I'll run the XB8 til the end of the year or when the new mugen comes out....whenever that is......

Same as me at the track, also the fact there running stocks low, same with the mtx3, normally they run stock almost out then out pops the new car, when i got my prospec alot of guys were saying then that they were holding out for the 6

Nah, mugen arent really one to follow the trends, more like they will come out with something thats proven. the shock through system has been used in the past, so i dont see why they would change there system to it now

any rumors on a release date....I think I'm gonna wait fo ra new mugen to come out.....I like my xb8 and see no reason to change brands if they're going to be changing their product...I have noticed w/ Mugen once the new model comes out the parts for the previous ones are hard to come by....true for most products but it seems more so w/ mugen....I think people just stock the poop out of their pit boxes w/ spares....

Thats more lhs not bring parts in for the older models, u can still get parts for on road mrx2 its up to 4 now and they still have all the parts for them, i havent got a for sure date on them but rumour has it towards the end of the year, which sort of fits with the usual mugen bring out the prospec then 6months to a year later bring out the new car

yup towards the end of the year apparently, you can not get a mtx3 from mugen at the moment, or so our importer says, sso any hes selling hes have to look else were for

My rear right wheel rubs on the upper hinge pin thing (not good at naming buggy parts). Anyone know how to fix this?


I'm not too concerned because I'm getting the truggy kit.
The truggy kits shipped to distributers on Friday. Heard that on the mugen forums by Mugen. I also heard the MbX6 will be awhile...
