muffler advice...

Hey, I am guessing that this is the one right here. http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXD486&P=0 Yes. That is probably robbing you out of A LOT of power. It is really short, so it does not give your engine a lot of room to push its power out of. About the fuel... Yes, it is probably robbing you out of a bit of that to, but shouldnt be to much...

yes thats the muffler. man that sux. i just bought it. i need a new muffler i guess. can any one suggest a CHEAP one that is good.
here is one brand new for about $20. It is a side exhaust and I think it is the one that comes stock on the GT. http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXBMH0&P=7 Just post a WTB ad in the FS section, and I'm sure someone has one for cheap.

k, but i need a kit. i dont have a manafold or coupler.thanx
You know what, I think I have a side exhaust header and pipe from my original setup on my NTC3. I will look through my junk drawer. If I have it, it's yours. I ahve no need for it since I switched to a rear exhaust on my ntc3 a while back and now don't even use it. I'll check right now. If I find it, I'll snap a pic and see what you think.

I think he will prob make you pay shipping though. Most ppl dont mind giving away stuff that they dont use anymore... but they wont give away stuff when they lose money... Unless Diver is really that nice.

Yes, I am really that nice. BUT unfortunately, I can't find the pipe. I think I gave it to another member a long time ago. All I found was the side exhaust header for a .12 or .15 and the coupler. It's yours for free, yes including shipping. It's not a big deal. I will hold off on sending it till I can confirm that there is no pipe to be found. CLICK HERE This is the header I found except it it one of my sample pieces that I put a mirror polish on. I don't have a gasket for it. If you need a gastket, I'll have to make one out of gasket paper that I used to use when I was still using a side exhaust, so don't worry about the gasket. AJ, you haven't been on here long enough but there are a lot of guys that will send stuff just because you need something to keep on running. Just stay on longer and keep a good attitude and you'll see the true generosity of the older members here.
