Hi Guys,

Not sure how many peoples have the Mugen on this site but I'm hoping someone has run into this before....
Basically I have the MTX4 with an RB Matrix engine if I get the gear mesh right I have a problem - the carb is not the best fit, basically I seem to have 2 choices.
Choice 1 = have the brake disc rubbing on carb (hell no)
Choice 2 = have the throttle binding on the gas tank, not going to be going full throttle for another couple of tanks anyway but... Almost as bad - has stuck open a couple of times till brake / reverse pressure is put on throttle.
There seems to be no possible way to have neither situation happening but am very new to the hobby so hoping someone has a solution:bow:.

Cheers,
Delux.

Nobody?? :(

I have heard there is a smaller disc which can be used (although with the brake setup I can't see how this would work), does anybody know who makes it?

Thanks,
Delux.

Awesome ohmygahitscoby - hope it's still ventilated, I'll have to check if any shops in NZ carry KFactory gear.

Many Thanks,
T.

No problem. Once you get your car running let me know. I wanna know how good it is compared to thew MTX-3 (I have).

Still running engine in so have only given it a little gas but a few of the guys here run them and they are on rails once setup, I am newbie styles so couldn't really compare to the 3 but I think once I run a couple more tanks through and tune it's going to be awesome!
I know at least one of them has a ninja which may be a better fit engine /carb wise (surprise, surprise : ) guess i should have researched a better combo but I'll sus it somehow the RB is going to be good once tuned - think the brake is good place to start.

Cheers,
T.

Yeah, people said the Ninja engine fits with the MTX-4. Mugen once used NovaRossi, but now they make Ninja engines.

Didn't know they used to use NovaRossi - can't seem to find anything bad written about their motors but they have the price tag to match huh....
Hopefully still have a long time to play with the RB but when that starts losing comp. might go for a Ninja - what do you have in the 3??

Oh no whats happening? I'm so close to the end of break-in it's killing me but have struck a few problems on the way (being my first decent RC).
And now waiting on hobby shop to get me a lower rear arm as I snapped it messin about on my street trying to get carb set right (just starting to lean it but still wanted it rich as hell so had body off for screw access) :(
