Hi everyone,

I've got an HPI MT2 (18ss) and would like to know if anyone has one that they are running spektrum on? I know I'm going to have to do SOME kind of mod if i plan on keeping the plastic radio tray (get the reamer out and run the antenna tube straight from the rx). But does anyone have any other suggestions? Also, my lhs was having a hard time locating the cf upper deck (quickest fix). so if anyone can let me know where they bought theirs from, i would appreciate it.

** I currently have the following:

3mm chassis
OS 18 CVR (non p/s....i love my bump box)
Vantage Racing CF pipe (don't get me started on the mounting issues w/o using the pullstart mounts
JR steering servo
Futaba throttle servo (hey!, it's just a basher)
oversized fuel tank w/ 2 filters (one in, out out)
fiber brake disk

all topped with a Porsche SAV body (was looking to do something different)

**if you'd all like, i'll post pics once everythings done**

thanks in advance,
Nino

Why would you need to mod anything to add DSM to your ride?

What radio do you have?

The reciver(DSM) is the same size as a FM reciver..

I'm running my KO helios on my rides...

Problem is, the antenna wire's too short to go through the regular routing location

How far away is it?
i just put a DSM reciver in my prospec...And I have about 6'' sticking out of the box..And Its a pretty big box!

I also run dsm in my monster beatle...
The antenna is completely under the body...

If i run it along HPI's routing....i MIGHT have 2" coming out of the radio tray. The placement is odd...the rx goes frontmost and the exit is near the rx pack. I was thinking of reaming a tiny hole (about the size of an antenna straw) and running it directly out of where the rx is mounted.
