:\I got pulled over this week on base because my revo was going faster than 20 mph. He was talkin about wanting to give me a legit speeding ticket that was rated at 17 over the posted speed limit. Now what are your oppinions on this and has this happened to you.
 
Wow sounds like he must be really board, I have never heard of such a thing, Is he going to add driving a uninsured and unregistered vehicle too, what a doosh bag..
 
HOLY S**T man that is messed up. . .its a freakin toy not a real car. . .i'd personally tell him to shove it. . .but thats just me
 
that would be freakin awesome. . .kind of off topic here. .. but how would you make a revo do 70?
 
I met an MP like that before he just wanted to pull his authority around. i wouldn't give it second thoughts.
BTW if you get your revo up to 70 i want to know the specs so i can build mine like it :)
 
well i have a bigger motor Picco .26, bigger clutch bell 17t, and a smaller spur gear 36t. . .i am hoping for 60, is that a reasonable hope?

i would never do that.
BUT- it's a legitimate way to control the use of your RC. (kinda)

I bet he's been getting complaints about your revo,,,,

I like the word dumb ... It is kinda fun isn't it????

I'm not saying anything bad about MPs just the one i had a run in with was an A**. All he did was try to push his weight around.
Just thought maybe he had a similar run in.

And i honestly didn't think maybe there were some complaints. (i go brain dead once in a while):\

Put it in the trunk of your 1:1 and hit the freeway...

50mph+ in an MT isn't the most wise thing to do due to the aerodynamics of the rig and all the rotational mass. Sure would be cool to see one go that fast without ending up a pile of mangled parts!

Not sure what a "MP" is, but I've had general city cops stop and pause to watch. I've had a couple come up and ask the #1 question...

"So, how fast does it go?"
 
if you want your revo to go around 70mph you need to get a bigger engine and throw some weight offf the revo. get a picco .26 max, bigger gearing, take off the ez start and use a pull start or bump start,if you have reverse dump that and got a FOC, and get lighter dish wheels. Ill maybe go around 65.

mp = Military police, at least thats my experience of the term.

Over in the uk, Mp means "member of parliament"

god that MP must have been bored.

when i first broke in my maxx i was running it behind the mall on a repaved area. so TJ Max complains and the mall security guy comes over and says "you guys have to move. then he goes is that a Tmaxx" i say "yeah" he goes" well i got a savage at home just go over there where they can't see you".
