hi guys

whats your thoughts on the trinity monster stock motor?
i have just brought a sprint (my first electric car) and it has this motor in it so is it any good?

thanks

Its a fine motor.....
Stock winds are great for getting the feel of a car before upping the power to a faster unit. If you have a few extra $$ 5-10 then get one that is tuned. If not, no big deal you will be just fine with a non tuned unit.

I use a Monster stock to race Stock class with and I like it. Make sure you run it in for 2-3 minutes worth the wheels off the ground before you drive. Start at 1/4 throttle for a minute then 1/2 for one minute then 3/4 ths for a minute. This will help seat the brushes.

Get a Com stick to clean the com. Do this after every 2-3 packs to help keep it running good. Replace the brushes when needed. It should last a good season of running for you.

If you are looking for a little more power from a stock give this a try. I'm racing with it this season and I like it. The cost is more but for me is worth it.

Trinity Monster Horsepower stock motors are very good.

Like was said clean the commutator,it has to be kept in good shape or you will have a motor that will arc, generate major heat for nothing and have a short life. Not to mention shorter run times and reduced performance.
