motor wows..is it bad?

in my rs4 racer i have a stock hpi motor. i just got it used, so I'm not sure how much fuel is on it. the problem is i can't seem to get it running for a full tank. and when it die's it wont restart at all. it took me a while just to get it to idle. I've set the carb back to factory and there is no low speed needle.. is the motor shot.. I've also tried other plugs.. it starts up pretty easy, but after a minute or so you pretty much have to keep it wide open or it will die. the die temp ranges from 220* to 270*. and that is pretty much at the same carb setting. I've tried leaning and richining it, but it just wont run right.. I've also checked and fixed all the air leaks, thinking it was just leaning out, but still the same.. should i work on another mill? grrr!!:surrender

nope.. i said the same thing and put a thread down on it.. it just has high speed and idle.. my savvy had high and low but not the rs4's

try raising the idle

It's toast, rebuild it or buy another mill.
