i have a hpi .15 fe and when i let off full throttle the engine dies. when i let off and its coasting it burrbles. does that maen its to rich or lean

I have the same engine and i would say too rich...Also i used to have problems with my carburator where it would constantly stall so i upgraded to the big bore carb for the .15fe that is a 5.5mm opening instead of the tiny stock one.Now my emngine idles erfexctly and never stalls. Also check your idle screw.

make sure your servo is adjusted correctly as well. when you hit the brakes the carb should not move.

hpidriver046, where did u purchase that 5.5 mm carb ? does it have a LSN and a HSN ? and did u buy a complete one? i can't find one.

You need to adjust your opening on the stock carb
Refer back to your manual! I had a rtr 3 with that engine.
Try getting a hold of an OS 10E-R USED or an HPI

Check this out for the HPI carb..http://www.hpiracing.com/buyhpi.htm
Just remember that the 15 FE requires the two set screws one on each side

normally it is a compression fitting on common engines

good luck!!
