Motor/ESC questions

I'm thinking about getting all waterproof electronics and in the past I just buy what I think should work but I'm curious what amp rating ESC I should buy for a 540/550 rock crawler motor that will be strong and last a while. Also if I was to get a duel ESC for later modifications if for now I can run just one motor off of it and not mess it up. Than you for taking the time to read this and all your help. You know you I'm talking about.

I've never ran duel esc's but I use Holmes Hobbies motor's and hobbywing 1080s in all of my crawlers. Plenty of power and zero issues.

Agreed with TUNEDPIPE can't go wrong with the hobbywing esc and they are waterproof not made for under water but can get wet.
