hey guys, alright yesturday me and my friend were going to drive our t-maxxs together and we got to his house and i had to change out a stripped spur gear in my transmission. after that i started my truck and it was idling perfect. then when i went to hit the gas it was bogging out. so i went and leaned the hsn and that didnt do anything. so then i did it again and it didnt do anything again. then i went to my lsn and leaned that out and it helped a little bit and so i did it again. then it made it worse. so i called it quietes for the night becasue i was getting pretty angry. so then today i went out to see if it was any better. i went to start it and it wouldnt hold a idle. and then even when it did it was still rich, and then it died. then i tried to get it going again and it wouldnt start. i have the XTM 24.7 and i havent had a gallon through it yet. i have not had this happen before and any responses would be great.

This probably isn't the problem but i've had similiar issues with my savage the past few days. It turns out that the tank was cracked and there was no pressure to the fuel line. Might wanna make sure the tank isn't jacked up.

If that isn't the problem, then try resetting the needles to factory then retune it.

How much did you lean your lsn out. Best results only come from changing one thing at a time, that way you know where the problem lies. I'd suggest steeing your hsn back where you had it and leaning out your lsn 1/8th to 1/16th at a time until you start to lose performance. Remember once you have your lsn set whatever yuou change your hsn to will effect your lsn setting.

it is not the gas tank because i have just replaced it. i will put my hsn back and play with my lsn. i was just out trying to run it and it was getting a little bit better.

hey i went out and tryed it again today. it will start up now and it will idle good with the glo ignitor on it but when i take it off it will die. so then i started it up again and it did the same thing. any thoughts?

bryan

have u changed the plug - KISS - if that doesn't work - then u need to adjust your LSN

alright i will go and try that.

thankz
bryan

hey, i changed my plug but taht didnt really do anything because i couldnt get the engine to start. i do not know what is going on because this has never happened before.

bryan

which engine is this? the 2.5? Verifying what u said - the glow plug needed replacing, and now tht you replaced it, the engine wont start? is this correct?

i have the XTM 24.7 engine. i have just taken and put a almost new glow plug in it. i do not think that the settings are right tho. so i was wondering if somebody knew where to get them.

bryan

sorry - i do not have much knowledge on the 24/7 - so i dont wanna give u any info that me be incorrect. have u checked the website for the engine manufacturer, XTM?

i have checked but they do not say really anything that is why i was trying to find somebody here that would know something about this problem.
