Lemmi know what you think. I know it isnt an original design, but i wanted to practice skills rather than my imagination.

That's really, really nice. Especially compared to my paint jobs. Now the real question is, will this be an eye candy body that just sits on the shelf, or an eye candy body that sees plenty of track time?

no body i ever paint is a shelf body - i race em all. they last about 2-3 months, then i throw them away.

shoot, bro - they arnt expensive - 20.00 retail. i buy them at my LHS for 15.00

as I've said before, i will paint any body for free, just so i can practice. if u want a body, just mail me a clear one, and ill paint it

yeah, I know, but paint adds up and it's kinda pain to paint the body and cut and mount it. I always screw up mounting the body.

mounting is a piece of cake. after u cut it out, and while it is still clear, lay it on top of the car and mark the holes with a marker, then drill away.

paint is cheap - faskolor lasts about 3 bodies for me.

I don't have a compressor and all that Jazz. I get the spray can stuff and it's like 5 bucks a can or some poop.

And I do mark the holes before I paint and all that. It still turns out like crap.

yeah - without an airbrush, i can see how the paint would get expensive.

u should test fit the body, and make the needed adjustments while it is still clear. i get the body completely mounted and trimmed before i begine painting.

Same here, but i've found for some odd reason, once you cut the holes for body mount, there's no going back.

Now I have never painted a body but it seems if you do the mounting before you paint it should be pretty straight foward since you can see the body posts.
