I would like to get a 1/18th. Which ones are the most durable? I want one thats not gonna break easy. Because my 4 year old wants me to teach him how to drive rc's. So i need some help picking one out. I figured 18th cause there small enough to run indoors, and big enough to run outside. Help please

the rc18t seems to be the best 18th truck around, the whole thing is upgradable and they are pretty fast( not shure if thats a good thing for your situation)

If you want one for him, get the Losi Micro-t. It's really small but also pretty slow (although fast for its size!).

Also, the RC18t is indeed a good choice.

The lhs carries Losi. So i was kinda leanin' toward them. I have looked into the Micro's But how well do they handle off road? grass, dirt. cause with spring coming were gonna be outside a lot more

Get a rc18 your wont be dissipointed at all. There fast and fun, and pretty sound, I have broken verry few parts on mine and I have had it for about 2 years. Deffinattly my top choice, and the 4wd helps in grass!

I have an 18t and a micro. My buddy has a Mlst2 and 3 Mini-t's. My rc18t will blow the doors off the Mlst2 and run with a heavily modified Mini-t. But the Mlst2 is waay more durable than any of these. The Mlst2 would be a great choice to teach him how to operate a RC with. It wont be too fast for him to handle and it is much more durable than my RC18t and handles 10x better than the Mini-t. It also has the biggest tires of the bunch allowing for more terrain options.
It wont be nearly as fast out of the box as an rc18t, but it will be much more durable than both the Mini-t and RC18t and easier to drive than the Mini-t.

If you want a durable rc, you can always upgrade the parts into alum.
Then it will be alot more durable :)

Cool cause I'm planning on getting one in the next few weeks, and I'll be upgrading it alot... I want it indestructible, well at least for the most part.

I know this is out of left field, but I have taken a CEN ME16 and put a Novak 8.5 with a VXL speedy. I run Spektrum radio gear and had to put wheelie bars front and back. It now runs a 33 tooth pinion gear and it flies. It still pops endless wheelies but no longer insists on flipping over backwards.
Not to mention it will take ANY punishment a normal human, or R/C fanatic, can dish out.

I have an Aluminum RC-18t. The thing is heavy but is extremely tough and with a brushless, it doesn't really slow it down.

I'd have to say RC18 as well.....
the mini-T is not nearly as durable out of the box....if you like the mini-T I'd suggest just start buying the aftermarket parts and build one yourself......and use RS4 shocks on it as well....HUGE difference in the handling....
