Here is the K&N Cold Air Intake installed. It makes my car sound throaty after 3k rpms and makes it pull so much harder.

Here is my mew '04-'05 tail light mod. These are geniune Nissan lights for the '04-'05 Spec V that are tinted unlinke the base model '04-'05 tails. These are not Altezza crap. I think my '03 taillights were about the ugliest thing going and was the one part about my car cosmetically that bothered the poop outta me. They make a car look so clean and then ruin the whole thin with a horrible ass end.

Here is the orginal tails of my car:

Here is one of each with to kinda get the idea of the change.

I'll hopefully get a picture of them in the light today.

Did you decide not to drive it in the rain?
The tail lights look great.

Nah, I just ordered a bypass valve by AEM. Should be here in the next few days. I have a a drycharger around the filter which will repel watter for 2 years before needing replaced. What the bypass valve does is in the event of the filter taking up water the bypass valve kicks is and draws the air through it as the water is heavier and will not come up the tube before the bypass kicks in.

BTW I had to cut, grind, hammer, and drill to get those tails in. It was quite the job :) The end results looks hella clean imo. And thanks Ed, I like my car SO much better now.

Now I just need my '04'-05 rear bumper cover to match the sleek lines of the tails. It's real hard to notice but with the '03 rear bumper it curves around like the rear tails used to. Well the new tails have a sharp angle at each corner going diagnle then down. The new bumper cover matches those same lines and continues them down the rear bumper.

Pretty cool stuff. What do you have planned next? I would assume they have the ground effect mods for it, but pricey, no?

Addicting isn't it? I am ordering Darton sleeves and JE Pistons soon. I have the head off the GSR and will take that apart soon.

Nice mods! What do you plan doing with it?

The have ground effects but I am just going to get the Nismo front lip and rear bumper lip. Less is more imo and these a subtle body pieces designed by Nissan's performance group that match the style of the car and do not make it look tacky. Everyone likes different things and you could go as far to make it look like this :(

Just not feeling the gucchi interior.

My lowering springs by Progress are in the mail and will be installed next week. They make the car drop 1.7 inches front and back. It should stick like glue at that point. After that I will install my full exhuast, header, ECU Stillen chip, and UR pully's. Should be putting over 180whp to the ground at that point in a 2600lbs or so car. That's about 205-210 hp to the crank and about 215lbs of torque. This is a very torquey motor and does great in autocross which I plan to run.

You installed the stuff right?

Throw in a set of TOMEI camshafts. You will get a good hp gain from them, Not to expensive either. 3 Days ago Me and my friend put some in his Eclipse.

Nice car will look very sweet after you drop the suspension. All i can say is NoS hehe that will get that little car moving real fast :) I always imagined you driving a Blazer lmao!

I am going for the Nismo cams.

The Blazer in my name is an adjective and not a noun

I wish TRD was like NISMO, us toyota guys get all the poop parts.

Anyhoo, looks nice, intakes are definitely fun to have when driving around the city or on twisties. I've got an AEM, it's a CAI also. Total blast to drive, especially when you get to downshifting. One thing though, i'm not running any bypass valves. You really don't need one unless you plan on going through a 3 foot high puddle.

What's your next mod gonna be? Springs? Exhaust?

HEy humbolt was it hard to install the k&n AF cuz iv been wanting to get one for my S-10 Looks nice hop much HP did u gain. Looks nice, oh and how much money?

It was easy to install on my car, and K&N's instructions were great. It's just like installing a hop-up on RC's just bigger. I dunno for your application but by K&N's dyno numbers I see a 7.5whp gain fron the CAI. What is nice about the K&N ones is they also convert to a short ram :)

That alot for a simple bolt on :). I have friends who have installed them and have also noticed a significant increase on gas mileage which is always nice. I'm going to build a ram air system for my 59 Impala and planning on using K&N filters they are worth every penny and last for almost ever if you take proper care of them.

Yeah, it's different for every car. My car starts out as a performance car (I use that term lightly, after all it is still a Sentra) so it takes well to bolt ons. I will see almost 10whp from my new header alone (precats in headers suck). If you go to K&N's website and choose your application it should tell you what the dyno'd gains are.

Sorry man, no cold air for you. They only have an intake for your truck, no Cold Air Typhoon.

blazer thats crazy, i love it.nice mods. i like that car alot my brother has the 2.0 SE but it looks nothing like that.

Yeah I love this car, I stll can't believe I got all this stuff gor just over 13k. It's only a '03 so it's the newest thing I ever had and feels new. A kid didn't own this car before me, it was a lady in her 30's so I imagine it wasn't romped on to much. Nissan threw pretty much everything it had at this Sentra to be funny or something, i dunno. But the end result is performance and conservative styling. The front end of my car is my favorite. I think it looks awesome.

I debadged the front since this pic. I should take some more. It looks alot better without the hamburger Nissan symbol up front. The reason I like the front is they really made it llook like a Skyline. Nissan only did this front in VERY limited numbers. It is ONLY on the '02-'03 SE-R's and SE-R Spec V's. So all the other Sentra's '00-'05 have and not so pretty front end imho. It really seperates my car from the rest, even other Sentra owners ask me what body kit do I have? I am like, I got the Nissan body kit :D

blazer, i know for a fact that you can debadge the back easily (yes the ones on the trunk) use a heat gun and they should peel up.. on a really hot day last summer my brother just took them right up it didnt even leave an effect on the paint.

Did my ground wire mod yesterday.

Idles way smoother, and I feel a quicker response from the throttle. I can turn on all my lights, hazards, interior lights, radio, and roll up and down all my windows at the same time without a sign of power fade. This made my electrical system SO much SMOOTHER.
