I read that it is possible to have a 6ch rx using a modded flysky gt3b, does that mean that I can control 6 servos? I can't imagine what else that it would mean. I was going to buy a 4ch radio upgrade, but for the gt3b to have 6 that would be even better!

I believe if you use the firmware from overkillRC.com you can get up to 8 channels but since you're basically piggybacking channels on other channels you couldnt really control 8 servos. The channels I think (i havent really experimented with mine) are more just an on/off type deal like channel 3 is although I'm not 100% sure. I'm not sure if you can do channel mixing with them or not. If you go to Overkillrc.com you can read through all the features the 3rd party firmware gives you.

By on off, do you mean like a momentary type button, or on until pressed again. I have all the parts to mod one from a project recently and just being that kind of a person aha, so I am planning on picking up a controller to try it out

Ok thanks for the info, I have been poking around that massive gt3b Q/A thread but it is just SO long to find information.
