According to the site, the 2200kv mamba monster motor is supposed to have 5-6 HP. And based on the Savage Flux vids, I thought that this might actually be true. Is it?

I'm waiting for the Savage Flux to arrive. But let me get this straight, by 6s you mean 2x3s Lipos right? Not 2x6s Lipos?

bah that sucks. i had a long reply typed out (the one time i provide useful information) and my son leaned over and hit esc.

Basically the system may peak at 5-6hp but neither the esc or motor is rated for that much rms current. According to the system specs at the rated maximum continuous current draw (120A) you will see 3.5hp on 6S and 2.3hp on 4S.

When you peak out at lets say 6Hp, you will be pulling [email protected] and [email protected] so spec your batteries accordingly.
