Check out this mini heli - 6.9 grams w/battery, no servos, no swashplate. I don't know how it works, but it is cool. Go to the video, pixelito in flight. It takes off from a guy's foot and flys around in the house.

I always wanted a heli. Just did not want the expence. This looks like it could be fairly reasonable. Price? Anyone?

Was the heli ON in that pic? lol

Cool heli! I might pickup something like this instead. I'm still a chicken when it comes to flying my Raptor. It will just sit.

bagok

Sadly, I don't think that guy sells, and it's not a production heli. I've known about the Pixel series helis for years, and at best the dudes page is more inspiration to DIY than anything. I wish he did sell them though.

I would love to have one of those to fly around the living room!

Maybe you should, StrechM. It just might be what that dog of yours needs to get UNfreaked.
Not sure about the scale of that heli. That might be a 40 lb. hamster.

Hey Chris, I thought we were going to tie YOUR video camera to it, & get some cool hover shots of the ECB II... You better start practicing.... lol

wanna try jumping a buggy over it while it's hovering like at the RCX show? Would make some good footage?:ahh:

If you only knew.....his real name is Shorty...aka Strech M_______whith the M being my last name. He's 14 years old next month, loves beer like a trooper, will chew the tires right of of your rc and he's fearless when I'm standing behind him....not to mention he'll attack on command....yep, an attack wiener. It's funnier than poop, you'll be rolling on the ground with laughter. I'd feel sorry for the heli owner if he caught it.

another derailment...

How about that? You're using your dog's name here? Likewise.
My buddy's name is Rolex, and he's also 14. I got him when he was 2. He was BADLY beaten and abused. He goes with me everywhere I go. Never on a leash, and always at my side. He had a bad early life, and now he knows he's got it good.
I named him Rolex because I wanted a "watch" dog.
He really fits the name....he's as good as gold.
