yeh the spur pinion mesh..how do i fix it? just use the lead to lube it?

you have to take the cover off the spur/pinion, then loosen up the motor and it will pivot to adjust the mesh, and yes just "draw" on the teeth of the gears to lube them

i did the reversal of the rear tires. theres a difference in handling and everything there.

i have the threaded axles. ill try reversing the fronts tomorrow. what do you use to make pull things for the body clips...never done it

how do you make this thing wheelie? it wont do it with a full lipoo charge. everyonce in a while it will pop one..but thats only every once in a while

i use some zip ties and some fuel tubing to make the pulls. if it wont wheelie they you got problems.. mine is stock and i can't keep the front end down. try tightening up the slipper. and check for drag in the driveline

how easily do your rear wheels turn when you turn them? mine have some drag, but i thought it was just the motor

it has some, but not alot, it should "diff out" pretty easily, but mine doesn't have much more drag when i hold one tire and turn the other

mines not to easy to hold one and turn the other, hasnt ever been..

i broke a steering linkage, quick fix?

so I've now broken 2 parts on this thing, steering linkage(which i just made my own new one), and the rear left hub. i just broke the left rear hub for the 2nd time in 3 days. should i keep building up on these 5 dollar hub a-arm kits or just go alluminum?

the linkage can be made out of a small zip tie and will almost never break. I've also seen them made out of cf stips. i havent broke anything on mine yet.

i decided to make a new steering link this morning so i could bring it over to a friends house and what do you know? i have a problem. the gears pop and grind and seriously take down the power when moving forward, and then, when moving back doesn't do it at all. i took the rear end off to investigate it stopped, as soon as i through it back on, it started again. what could be happening? it wasn't doing this at all just over a week ago (last time i used it) so what would make it start now?

sounds like a broken tooth on one of the gears maybe int he diff area, time for a tear down.

but it didnt do that last time i ran it. why would it start it now? doesn't make sense.

i bought the new diff set a few weeks ago, and decided to try and get it all working tonight. i took it apart very carfully watching exacting how everything was, and waddaya know? they wont go tightly together again without a hard push before coming back apart again..everything looks tight as it can be. any ideas?
