removing the tires is a pain..any certain way to do it? i finally got the clip off, but it flew across the room..i found it at least

now i just can't get it back on

they have a axle set that switches it out to a nut. much easier.. i use a plastic baggy over the tire, or a towel to catch the clip if it flies. i agree poor design..

i also lost a hood clip..i dropped it on a table, it disappeared, i may go to hobbytown to see if they have the lipo stuff tomorrow..these 3-6 minute run times just dont make this thing all that fun

so ill most likely run to hobbytown in a bit to get the threaded axles, and possibly the lipo upgrade. I'm just making sure you dont need anything to do with the esc when you plug the lipoo into it. yuou just plug, and go, right? also, i was wondering how much faster this makes it

yeh, the stupid hair and fuzz on the carpet just wraps itself around the axles slowing down top speed and killing teh battery

Maby this is where my wheelies went! lol. Damn dog lol. I drove over his tail yesterday, he just looked at me like I'm to old for that crap! lol. I'm going to get the threaded axles and berings today or tomarrow I think. I want a brushless so bad, huh, wake this little thing into a monster. :celebrate: But if only my hobby shop was instock lol.

i just got the threaded axles and the lipo for it. the lipo is charging, but the axles are on it. the little plastic nuts themselves are a bit annoying, but better than those stupid clips. i may even put the clips back on the front. the front wheel seem to turn better with the clips

wow..HUGE difference. the tires wont even hook up in my 20 foot long kitched/dining room. the thing just goes sideways when going in a strait line..and the flipping over backwards wheelies. this thing is great. i wonder what brushless would be like

when i 1st plug in the lipo, the system shuts off after a minute of running, then wont work, so i have to let it sit, then i try again. it will work a little better the 2nd time but the motor will stop and the wheels will still be turnable. then i let it sit more, and it will start to work, but it studders some sometimes

Mine does that same type of start, stop action, I just slap it on the table a time or 2 and it works. I'm thinking the lipo is to much power for the stock speed controll. So there for, brushless here I come. When you go brushless you have to replace the servo though, and some other little do dads that I'm a little hesitant on, but should be easy.

is anyone having a high pitch, whiny, screechy noise coming from the rear end when you give it power? mine just started doing it and i have no clue what it is. it does it with the tires off. do you oil/grease the axles at all?

mine does it all the time...i wanna try greasing the axles..if its not a problem

its loud and taking a huge toll on performance

the noise is coming from the spur connection to the motor...its rattling. what can i do?

tips for the micro-t
1 wheel bearings. they help alot
2 check the trans screws. mine and a few other people I've taked to said the screws that hold the two halves of the trans together were to tight. loosen them and just snug them for a free spinning trans
3 check spur/pinion mesh. this could be the whining you are hearing
4 you can use a pencil on the spur/pinion for lube. just use the lead like graphite lube.
5 get a good charger. i get WAY better speed and run times when charging the stock pack on a real charger instead of the stock one.
6 change axles for threaded. no e-clips
7 make pull tabs for the body pins.
8 you can reverse the wheels for a wider stance and better handling.
9 the spring sets for the xmod trucks (trucks only) fit the micro t shocks. for about 9 bux you get a full spring set with different hardness.

thats about all i can't think of right now.
