You guys are totally missing the point and why it's a big deal for Michael. While some of you might want to praise him or see no problems with it, none of you are being paid millions of dollars to represent a company.
These companies are paying millions of dollars for someone and expect him to be a good role model and rightfully so, if I paid someone that kind of money I wouldn't be looking for some junky to spend it on.
While some people think it's no big deal just as many think it is and companies have to keep that in mind. Furthermore smoking pot is illegal, period. Who cares what you think or believe, it's illegal end of story. That said doing it anyway is anything but being a good role model or a good spokes person for a company.
Keep in mind this is also his second strike against him, the DUI after him winning all his medals was his first. This to me is more serious then the pot and I dare anyone to take up that argument that drinking while driving isn't a big deal... right after they lose a close friend or family member to a drunk behind the wheel.
