I'm having nothing but trouble out of this thing, now i know why the man give it to me, now its hard to get it started and when it finnaly does start after turning about fifty rounds it runs wide open then shuts off. i dont know what the carb settings should be? i have sealed the back plate, made sure the carb is tight and replaced all the fuel lines. any body know whats up?

Go the the engine companies website and see if they have an online manual that tells you what the factory settings are and then go from there. Even if you end up having to put a new motor in that thing, a couple hundred bucks is still a good price for a MGT with a brand new screaming engine of your choice. Or if it is too much of a headache you can ship it to me and I'll relieve you of the pain. See, I am just a nice guy like that.

Also, for tons of MGT info and help, try http://www.rcmonstertruckforum.com/index.php?action=forum

I'll take the pain off your hands too. What engine is in it?

You can also go to www.rcdocuments.com and look up the monster gt. It should have the stock carb settings (considering its a stock engine)
