mgt or aftershock?

I'm looking for suggestions on which one is better pretty much. the associated mgt 4.6 se or the losi aftershock? which one would perform better?and which one is more durable? I'm new to r/c so i dont really know much

I have just bought an aftershock off ebay. all i can say is still consider both options. after about 3weeks of having the aftershock i am having to replace the low gear because it has worn down. but then again i have a field near to my house and i went down there nearly everyday, full throttling it around the field.

But i must say it is a brilliant rig that sounds like an f1 car and reaches speeds of an f1 car (not quite 170mph but still...) and having the two steering servos makes a big difference.

For wrenching, I will have to go with the MGT. The pan style chassis makes it that much accessible to service. The LST has the unique style. I like the LST but to wrench...its a PITA. My Old LST racer was turned into a basher. only stripped spur gear due to it landing on its lid...without the lid. This shiffted the engine mount and chewed up my spur. I replaced it and that was it.

For speed, the LST's Mach 26 was great and I hear the mach 427 is better. So keep looking or ask away. I can tell you we have threads started already you just need to do some research here.

The MGT is already a proven truck, and everyone who has one, seems to really like it.

after i get my firestorm tuned in right. I'm going to get the mgt. i can get a better deal on one than an aftershock. thanks for your help guys.
