MGT 4.6 se

hey everyone, am new to the RC world, and my first truck was an MGT 4.6. Have been having lots of different problems with it so far. But the latest problem is it will not take the fuel from the tank, tried priming it with the primer bulb and nothing and obviously it won't run because it has no fuel in the engine, what could be causing this problem??

A clogged fuel line or maybe a leak in the fuel system not letting it build pressure.

as much as a i love my MGT..... They do take a lot of work to get the bugs worked out.

1) get a fuel filter
2) get a fail safe
3) get a 5-cell hump RX pack

now with the fuel not getting any fuel you have a clogged line....

go to a LHS and buy some better fuel line.... and replaces the lines on the rig, that will remove your clog, and the hoses that it comes with are thin and brittle... it'll help out in the long run.

did u make sure the fuel lines were in the correct positions after working on it?

thanks for the tips guys, replaced the fuel lines and she is runing like a dream, any other good ideas to get the most out of my mgt would be greatly appreciated.

1 ) Look into getting a new engine, the 4.6 Thunder Tiger that comes with the truck is a decent engine but lacks. get a good .21 or a .28. it's a totally different truck w/ a new engine.

2) remove all of the set screws from the axles and apply lock tight and reassemble.

3) tuned pipe tuned pipe tuned pipe

4) alum. clutch shoes.
