MGT 3.0 vs. T-Maxx 2.5

I have a t-maxx 2.5 that i broke the other day. it needs a new motor, fuel tank, bulkheads, and skidplates. it would cost me about $400 to fix. i was looking on tower hobbies and i came across a MGT 3.0 for a little over 250 and i was wondering. how would the mgt compare to the t-maxx?

Id say give it a shot. I havent been too enthused with the motors from AE so far (i only have the MGT 8.0). I like my tmaxx 3.3, but dammit its just not the basher that it used to be lol. Its new and I've already broken the a arms. But have a full RD logics kit waiting for me to have some time. Get the 3.0 and work on the tmaxx as time permits i guess.
