Anyone know if there is going to be a sequel to the mgt? I want to get one but it is a couple years old and with all these new trucks comin out, I'm just wondering what associated is doing...

I think it will be a while b4 AE puts out another mt. They are still using the ol' rc10gt and that thing has been in action for years, and just won at "The Dirt" in SoCal. So I wouldn't hold my breath.

I agree with vbgagnon as AE has always been the type of company that makes sure they can squeeze every last penny out of an R/C before coming out with another. However I could be greatly mistaken and they might have a new version planned, your best bet is to contact AE and see if they would tell you anything.

They wouldnt tell me anything. Maybe something is going on...

and they just came out with the rc18t and the B4 RTR SE... thats another reason I wouldnt count on it...

The MGT is here to stay I believe. And I really hope so because I am planning on getting one in a couple of weeks.

Get that MGT yet? Assuming so, you haven't posted lately lol.... There great! Might need some RPM a-arms (said 1 million times before) but after that, solid as a rock almost!

Yes I did.
I got it yesterday.
Man this thing is bigger than I thought it would be!!!!
I went with the red body, and of couse, when I took it out of the box I couldn't get the tires on fast enough to really get a good look at it.

Unlike HPI I also think that it will take awhile before they release a new MT...If they do, I'm sure it will be the shocks and the engine that will be changed...everything else is good the way they are. The 21TT is great but I'm sure they will have to go up to at least a .26 since everyonesle is going for bigger engines now a days.
