I have savage 25 and i replaced my plastic spur with the steel 49T spur from GH, however after running the truck for almost a tank the spur gear 6 screw that hold the ring on the flange came loose in two piece. did anyone face the same problem I am assuming that steel two piece spur will last fo ever

Are you saying that screws holding the center and the outer gear sections came loose?
If so, it's simply a matter of using thread-lock and tightening each screw.

I pretty much inspect and go over all new parts.
You'll be surprised how may parts manufacturers send stuff out that should be, but are not properly thread-locked.

I had same problem, 3 times :(

what i did lots of thread lock once bolts were in place superglue the backs of the screws

leave for 48 hours

had no problems since

Go back to the plastic spur, it's the best for the job. Set the mesh tight as possible with it being able to rotate freely. If it it tight in just one spot, don't sweat it. It will wear in. One rock inbetween the metal spur and CB = bent tranny input shaft or worse....a bent crankshaft.
The GH spur is a POS, famous for breaking and loosing screws even with loc-tite.
