Well, crap, did yours trash the hex like mine did? I'm gonna take a trip to sLowes and see what they have in the metric isle. Might could shave down the hexes just a bit too, similar to how the RPM's I got with my wheels were for the pede.

i found a pack of m4-.7 nylock nuts in one of my pit boxes that seem to work fine, the axles actually made it thru the nylon, i think its the step on the back of the nut that makes them too thick.

here is the difference in the nuts, sorry for the crappy pics, took them with my droid

Yeah, but the step acts as a washer, spreading any side loads on the wheel evenly, and ensuring the wheel can't pull through over the nut. I worry that without it, I'll be breaking wheels.

FYI, some of those are 2s and some are 3s.

What batteries were you tring to get?

FYI, I recieved my batteries and the first two that I listed did not fit. The 3s could be forced in but not something I would do to a lipo or my Merv. The last one does fit but I have not ran the car witht hem yet, probably will tomorrow.

Got some new shoes for my mERV. Picked up some Dirt Hawgs on Titus black beadlocks. Gonna give them a beating tomorrow.

Let me know how good they are, i have been eyeballing a set as well.

I love mine. You will have to lower your gearing. I'm running a stock pinion and a 55t spur. They are a little bit taller and heavier which helps with flipping.

Got my 2 lipo's today... the big ones are for the emaxx.

Tmaxxfreak, you were wondering if these fit in the merv, they do but they are tight. You will also need to modify the battery doors for the wires to fit.
