MERV question

What is the KV rating of the stock motor for the MERV?

Also is it possible to mod the MERV for it to take a 540 can motor?

It's a 4000kv motor wolf. They make an adapter plate (hot racing I think) to fit a 540/550 size motor, but I can't imagine it not being truly "stuffed" in there and making it top heavy.

I was just curious cuz I've been eying a MERV and I have a 540 3500kv motor and an extra ESC laying around. I was thinking maybe MERV roller and using my extra electronics if it were possible.

Here's the motor mount

I haven't gotten to really run mine yet, so I can't really give any feedback on outdoor running. I did however get the ESC and motor really warm a bit ago blasting doughnuts on the kitchen linoleum. :D

Here's a pretty cool vid of the Tenbol big block MERV

The brushed motor mount from the newer Traxxas Mustangs is for 540 sized motors.
