Is this a long trip from home? I would become a surf bum there for sure! That beach looks perfect!
 
About two and a half hour drive. We would come more but it's a bit pricey, and I'm just getting to old for a day trip. If I won the lottery I would definitely live near the ocean.

It was so nice sleeping with the slider open and listening to the waves crashing against the shore. The jetted tub is also amazing to relax in before bed.

Oceanside was nice but def not my idea of quiet.

I can hear the waves crashing and smell the nice warm sea air when I picture it in my head. :cool: 😍

Just make sure you remember to turn the hot tub on before you try to get away with farting in it!

Cambria is really nice. Last time I was in Monterey, my bride and I also left the slider open and fell asleep to the sound of the waves. I truly believe there is no better or peacefull sounds than the waves on the rocks.
I trust you packed some of your photo equip along with your crawlers?
 
Not the best video, had to choose an easy section so I could drive with one hand.
there are so many awesome lines to choose here, like I said this was the easy section.

I opted to leave the Camera gear at home this trip, was just too much stuff to bring to "relax".
I will say I missed some great shots, but still having a great time.

I totally get that, sometimes the camera gear just needs to stay home and spend your "focus" time on your bride. 40 years ago I had a pro photographer tell me to not worry about a missed shot, just enjoy the moment, you will always have that "shot" stored away in your memory. He was absolutely spot on, I have many many images in my head accompanied by the moments that went with them 😉👍
