Mega Force Temperature when idling

What temperature should my Mega Force show when it is just idling? What temp should I try to keep it at when running?
 
All engines are different but a general rule of thumb is to keep it between 220-270F. It all depends on how your engine performs. Tune it to performance, but keep an eyeon temps. As long as there is a steady stream of smoke coming from your exhaust, you'll be fine. The richer (cooler) it runs, the more lubricant is present. Leaner (hotter) less lubricant. Leaner is faster but also shortens the life of your engine. Run it too cool and the sleeve won't expand, causing premature wear also.

I would say that a happy medium is about 230.
 
I Got The Mad Force I Run It At About 237 Consistently! I Have My Hsn Set At 2 1/4 Turns Out From Closed Posistion. But I Live In Texas Where The Whether Is In Higher 90's With 90 - 100 % Humidity.
When I Bring My Truck To Chicago I Run It At A Little Under 4 Turns Out. Make Sure U Put Whether Conditions Into Factor!
 
I can't believe you get it running that cool when it's that hot an humid. I'm in Northern Illinois and when it's 80degrees and 90% humidity, I don't even bother. If I try to richen it to cool it, it gets so rich that it won't run. If I tune it to run, my temps scream up to 300... stupid midwest!

I have noticed though, my OS 21 RG doesn't care what the weather is like, I can tune it to stay under 250 with good performance even if it is 90 and 90. But with my Omega 21 Comp, it has to be below 80 degrees and less that 50% humidity to keep the temps below 260. Those are fun days though, that engine really rips. To bad it's so picky.
 
yeah i know its crazy. thats what i was trying to get at in my other thread:MANUFACTURES DONT GIVE ENOGH INFO. but i used to be in chicago and roselle and i dont ever remember the humidity ever being like 80% i think it was more like higher 60's lower 70's. mayb it is different farther north.
