it takes me 1/2 hour to start it why so long and when i start it it will not go in gear it is only 5 days old :bow:help

It's new, and it needs some tweaking and adjusting. Check your manual for maintenance tips, and post here again if you're still having problems.

yes it is still happing

:surrender do you know the factory settings on a jr racing xr2i remote what should the sts thr and stuff read

I don't think your radio is the cause of it not starting and not going into gear. Being hard to start is usually caused by a low battery in the igniter, bad glow plug, or poorly set needle mixture. Charge all batteries, try a new glow plug and return needles to factory settings (see manual for factory settings)

As for the radio, reading the manual is your best option.

Not going into gear could be caused by

clutch problem
stripped gear, spur gear, tranny gear
bad one way bearing in the two speed gears

Just because it's new doesn't mean you can't break it. It's only a week old, call the hobby shop that you bought it from or Horizon hobbies and they should take care of it for you.

If you changed settings, you might not be getting proper throw on the throttle. You should start with your radio set to neutral across the board. Make your throttle and brake adjustments to the car and then make EPA adjustments on the Tx as neccessary.
Is that a nitro or gas engine? They are totally different. Need some more info. Fill us in, and we'll guide you in the right direction.
