This is a flattering pic of me killing a buggy at the Brothercup 2004. This race was in the Netherlands, I went with Teamplayers.

You can find further pics here --->http://www.twf8.ws/new/brothercup2004/bc2004splash.htm

We have a race in 2 weeks in Germany. Gonna be a 2 hr endurance race... Any suggestions?

Anyways, dont spend too much time staring at my ass, it makes me uncomfortable :D

:sheep:

roflmao - is that a loaf of bread in your pocket or are you just happy to play with a buggy? lol

2 HOUR endurance race?!?!? WOW!

Suggestions????

Yes!

Say a couple extra prayers, have one hell of a reliable pit crew jacked up on caffeine, use eye drops or carry one of those natural tear eye misters if you are driving. The 'I forgot to blink' syndrome could cause problems in a 2 hour race.

Other than that, richen her up, cross your fingers and KICK SOME ASS!

Its actually a team event. Teamplayers and myself are going to race together. We figure if we run in 30 minute intervals we will be better off.

I hope my buggy stays together!

Oh, thats not a loaf of bread, its my wallet, full of receipts and no money :(

I would have given you a pinch!!! Damn two hour indurance, I have a hard time being consistant for 5 minute heats LMAO! My advice is eat your Weaties!

2 hours is a long time.
There are several things that come to mind.

Run the engine FAT. Your going to be pushing it for a long time.
These races are more about who chan go the distance. Don't worry about keeping up with the fast laps, chances are they wont make it through the race. The first 1.75 hours should be a Sunday drive in the park. Its not unusual for only 1-2 RCs to go the distance. Its more about who has the most spare parts and the fastest pit crew. Check all your screws.

Lots of extra parts. Pit time will kill you. If something brakes, have a module ready to slap on. I say a module because its much quicker to replace an entire front corner than it is to replace a hub carrier. Have your buds repair the module and make it ready incase it needs to be replaced again. Pit speed is important. Check all your screws.

Batteries, Have TX and RX Batteries charged and ready. Replace them every time you have to shut down for repair and at a minimum of every.5-.45 minutes. Check all your screws.

Glow plugs, You will be running rich so you will want to replace the plug every time you shut the engine off and every time you change the batteries. Check all your screws.

Endurance races are just that, endurance. If you keep your track speed and pit time down you will have a better chance of making it through the day. Did I say Check all your screws.

Have fun.

I just have to say check your screws..LOL
Was that track carpet with wooden jumps? It looked like it was very difficult to drive.

Good luck, check your screws and finish this bad boy.

That track was carpet in the NL... It was a bitch to setup the car with. You had to basically understand onroad and offroad driving to get anything to work. My buddy Teamplayers did an excellent job of running that day; I had tech. issues :(

The track in Germany is a dirt/offroad track. So it should be easier to adjust to.

What about the pic of me running away from the compitition? GO OPS!!! 2hrs....all we got to do is just drive no flyboy crap and just chill out, AND you know we got ot represent the home team.

Yea American military. We both got stationed here in Belgium :)

I can respect that. I tried to get into the army helicopter flight program for the then-new Apache, but my eyesight wasn't good enough. Anyway, good luck in the race and stay frosty, americans are targets everywhere now...
