ok, finally finished putting together my new to me buggy, with the picco .26 outlaw, bought both on the mighty web (rcnitrotalk.com) the engine fired up within 3 seconds, :OMG: wow!! messed with it for probably 5 seconds then put it on the ground and zapped the throttle. I must say it jumped out of the garage like a scared striped ape (that might be fast) but it seemed to rip. so out of the house for cars and down the drive way. fast engine screaming tires spinning on concrete. then slower and slower and stop, engine still screaming just no go (15 mph) but it steers like a drunken fish (that is good?!?). I think the stock ofna clutch went poof as well as the screw that goes in the crank (I think it is out in the street somewhere) I red locktite'ed it on there but no joy. any ideas on how to keep that sucker on there? also, are there special red sisicone manifold gaskets for use on the picco outlaw, mine is too lose I think it might go faster if it wasn't leaking out the back... but even with this thing running poorly, it is still worlds apart from that boat anchor that is in my ultra comp (orion .28 pos)

Just get some 1/8 th scale gaskets to replace the ones you have.

And then WHAT screw are you talking about? The one that secures the clutch to the shaft? Chek the clutch for wear. Next time use blue loctite on the screw before screwing it. Let that dry once screwed in. I like to wait 24 hours or overnite.

yep, that is the one (screw) left it overnight/ all day (about 18 hrs) with red locktite (didn't want it to come out but didn't account for the heat from the clutch) I must say I like the e-clip method better, damn my wife is gona kill me, another clutch. anybody need a nice t-maxx? lol not joking got 2 lol.
