the 3.3 is only .20 iirc, and picco to boot so its def. a step up for all maxx's.

Probably should have asked this before I hit the buy button, but it this thing gonna tear up my gears? It's not a whole lot bigger then the 3.3 and I have revo spec driveshafts and all that so I hope it will be ok.
 
I would assume that if your revo spec, you shouldn't have a problem. Unless your trans is 2.5 spec. Even then, with a FOC in it and 10 friction pegs on the spur, it should hold up ok if your running normal sized tires.
 
I have a 4909 tmaxx which i converted to a 4908 complete with FOC so hopefully I'm golden. Thanks for that link btw...thats some sweet savings.

So I finally got the engine, and finished break-in. I can tell you this thing is DEFINETLEY step up from a 3.3.
 
Hey guys, I noticed the werks version and the wasp version of the picco p2 are sold out at Stormer. I was actually at the Stormer warehouse a few weeks ago and bought one of these engines (werks) It comes with a tmaxx mount and pullstart. New in the box, its a real nice mill. I was going to put it in a Revo to upgrade the 3.3, but changed my mind. If someone is still looking for one give me a PM, I will charge you the $75 plus actual shipping cost. I also have a Traxxas BB Revo mount I will send with it for another $15.
 
After having bought one, I can say somebody should jump on this. Best 75 bucks I've ever spent on my maxx.
